Direct debit

Collection Management Service

Direct debit is an automated payment method where a person or organization authorizes a third party, such as a bank or service provider, to withdraw funds directly from their bank account to pay for goods or services. This arrangement is often used for recurring payments, such as utility bills or subscriptions.. With direct debit, the payer provides authorization once, and the payments are processed automatically according to a predetermined schedule or as bills become due, eliminating the need for manual intervention for each transaction.

It operates as follows:

  1. LP creates the ticket with details, amount, currency and expiration date.

  2. The service is activated and notifies the user of the collection.

  3. The end user receives the notification on his mobile device.

  4. The end user has the opportunity to accept or reject the charge.

  5. The debit is generated.
